Getting the result back
Register a webhook and PostWharf posts every delivery outcome to you — published, retrying, failed, or removed after publishing. Each is signed with HMAC-SHA256 so you can verify it came from us. Webhook reference.
Where this actually happens
One HTTP Request node, sitting between your trigger and whatever comes after it. There is no custom node to install and nothing to keep updated: the node posts JSON to an endpoint, which is what n8n is already good at.
Turn the node’s retry off
This is the one setting worth getting right. If the HTTP Request node retries on failure, a retry is a second post rather than a second attempt at the first one — the request had already been accepted, and n8n tried again because it did not hear back in time. PostWharf retries the delivery itself, waiting as long as the network asks it to, and the receipt is where you find out whether it worked. Let the node fire once.
