Caption generator

Pick a post type, fill in three fields, and get a version fitted to each network — cut on a word boundary at that network’s limit, never mid-word.

This is a structure, not a language model

It does not invent claims about your product, because a tool that invents claims about your product is a liability rather than a shortcut. What it does is impose the shape that most captions which work actually have — hook, one detail, one ending — and then fit that shape to each network's limit.

The fitting is the part worth having. Cutting at exactly 280 characters lands mid-word about six times in seven; this cuts at the last word boundary before the limit, so a trimmed caption reads as deliberate rather than broken.

Where the hashtags go

Hashtags are appended on Instagram, TikTok, Threads and Pinterest, and left off X, Bluesky and LinkedIn. On the first group they are a discovery mechanism; on the second they cost characters you do not have, or are simply ignored by the ranking.

Questions

Does this use AI?

No, and deliberately. It fills a caption structure from what you type and fits it to each network. Nothing is sent to a model, nothing is invented, and there is no wrong fact it can put in your mouth.

Why does the trimmed version end in an ellipsis?

Because the network would cut it anyway, and cutting on a word boundary with an explicit ellipsis reads as intentional. Silent mid-word truncation reads as carelessness.

Can I use these commercially?

Yes. The output is your text.

Is anything stored?

No. It runs entirely in your browser with no request to any server.
