The pricing model

What six brands actually costs

Postiz is open source and self-hostable. The catch is not the software — it is the platform approvals. Thirty channels across six brands, five networks each — the shape most people running more than one account end up with.

Straight answer

PostWharf or Postiz?

Where PostWharf wins

  • Self-hosting Postiz means registering your own developer app on every network
  • TikTok will not approve an app for private use, and unaudited posts stay private
  • Meta app review runs 2–4 weeks per submission and is rejection-prone
  • You connect an account with the credential you already hold, and register no developer app of your own

Where Postiz wins

  • Postiz is genuinely open source. If you want to own the code outright, take it — it is good software.
  • Self-hosting is free forever if you already hold the platform approvals.
  • Their cloud is the same codebase as the self-hosted build, which is unusually honest.

We'd rather you picked the right tool than churned in month two. If the right-hand column describes you, buy theirs.

FAQ

Moving from Postiz

Not automatically yet. Scheduled posts have to be recreated, which is why most people run both for a week and let the old queue drain rather than migrating in one go.

No. A network can be connected to several tools at once, so you can run both in parallel while you decide. Just don't queue the same post twice.

They stop going out at the end of your paid period. Export your queue first — the API returns everything, and we don't hold your content hostage.

Ask. If you are moving several brands across we would rather have you than the margin on your first two months.
