Post to Pinterest from Claude

Ask for a Pinterest post

Once the server is attached the ask is a chat message, not a form — in whatever conversation you are already having, next to the draft rather than in another tab:

"Write a pin description for this image, point it at the product page and pin it to Recipes."

Claude finds your connected Pinterest channel, checks the text against the 500-character ceiling before anything is queued, and hands back the queued time. Nothing publishes because a model decided it should.

Claude will show you the post before it queues it. That is the approval step, and it is worth keeping even once you trust the setup — the receipt tells you what published, but only you can tell it what was worth publishing.

What comes back

Every post carries a delivery receipt per channel: the state, the live URL once it is out, and the platform's own reason if it failed. Deliveries are re-checked after publishing, so a Pinterest post removed later stops reporting as live instead of sitting in your history as a success. Ask Claude for the status and it reads that receipt back rather than guessing.
